OK, it is time to start planning next years ride to Sturgis. This year was great but next year is the 70th Anniversary so it looks to be wild. Anyone else interested in riding. Please let me know.

I will be at Sturgis for 2010. I am hoping we will have a good turnout of Rescue Riders so that we can schedule some activities.

I am looking to go again this year. I think the only thing that would hold me back is if i got a new job in an ER or as a Firefighter and had to work.

Janet (AKA Trixie, AKA J-ski) and I will definitely be out there again. We typically stay at Hog Heaven with a sometimes large group. There's tons of room for everybody, and you can sleep at night! HH is just outside town behind the short track and we've got an open tent policy. Well, that and a 50' by 25' tent that protects all the bikes.

I bought a new Ultra end of May and already have 10,000 miles. I like to take long trips. I am definitely interested in going to Sturgis with a group. I will watch for more information. Thanks.

Here's the website for the campground. http://www.hogheavencampground.com/

They do have early bird pricing, but the discount's not that much. We usually just pay when we get there with no reservations all though they are accepted. There's pricing from nightly to weekly. The campground really is pretty nice with decent showers, good food and a couple bands every night. The whole place quiets down by 10:30 or so.

The area of the campground we block out has got enough room for another 50-100 tents, so if we wanted to get all the RR's in one place, this is the place.

The dates for the Sturgis rally are August 9-15. Typically the weekend before (Aug 7-8) is when many of the activities kick off. I am debating on going out early this year and departing on the 9th or 10th. Anybody interested in going early?
