Gary, It makes me so, dam happy that finally my voice concerning my son will be heard. Loyola diagnosed him again with BiPolar Affectives Disorder just last week. My son brought me the paper home and showed me. If, I see my son today I am going to copy it and try and convince my son to go with me downtown tomorrow. If, not I will go with what paperwork I have. Hi Linda:
I wanted to let you know that Gov. Pat Quinn’s Nursing Home Safety Task Force will take testimony at an open, public meeting tomorrow (Tuesday), and has also announced a Web site, NursingHomeSafety.Illinois.gov, where people can submit comments and recommendations. Tomorrow's meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in the James R. Thompson Center, Room 16-503, 100 West Randolph Street in Chicago.
Your reflections about your son were touching and have been helpful to our reporting, and I thought you might want to consider offering your thoughts to the task force as it examines Illinois's reliance on nursing facilities to house younger adults with mental illness and convicted felons.
Okay Gary did you or wife order this cold weather..lol It's 29 here by O'hare but temp is raising. Looks like we are gonna have a very chilly winter.
